How to export OpenRouter usage as CSV and check your spend
Short answer: open openrouter.ai/activity, pick the period, open the options menu at the top right, choose Export, then CSV. The file has one row per request with its cost in credits, which are US dollars.
Step by step
- Sign in and open the Activity page.
- Choose the period. The previous full month is a good start; spike detection needs at least a week of days.
- Open the options menu at the top right and choose Export, then CSV.

What the columns mean

Column names come from the export format as seen in public tools that read it; OpenRouter may add columns over time.
Two things to watch for
- BYOK spend is billed elsewhere. If you use your own provider keys, most of that spend appears on the provider's invoice, not in
cost_total. Add both when you compare with your budget. - Model versions matter. The same model name can hide an older, pricier version pinned in a config. The permaslug shows the exact version.
