The short version
The free Checkup runs entirely in your browser. Your usage file is never uploaded to us, and this site has no analytics or tracking cookies.
What we collect
- Checkup (free): nothing. The page reads your file with JavaScript on your own device. You can verify this in the source code.
- Daily Watch (paid): your email address and the settings you choose, so we can send alerts. The daily check runs in your own GitHub account with your own API key. We do not receive or store your API key or your usage data.
- Payments: handled by Paddle.com as Merchant of Record. Paddle processes your payment details under its own privacy policy. We receive your email, country and subscription status, not your card details.
How we use it
Only to provide the service, send alerts and service messages, and meet legal obligations. We never sell or share your data for advertising.
Hosting
The website is hosted on GitHub Pages, which may log IP addresses for security purposes under GitHub's privacy statement.
Retention and your rights
We keep subscriber data while your subscription is active and delete it within 90 days after it ends, unless the law requires longer. You can ask us to access, correct or delete your data at any time.
